Located on the Lemon Road side of The Waikiki Grand Hotel™ with a city view, this comfortable 3rd floor Queen bed studio has free WiFi & great air conditioning.

The clean & well equipped kitchenette area means a simple meal can be reheated or prepared at home. A Microwave, Coffee maker & toaster are in the kitchenette area. Neatly stored in the cupboard, you'll also find plates, glasses, cutlery, mugs and utensils for your stay.

The bathroom is well lit & has your sink, shower and W/C.

Fresh white cotton towels & linens (including multi-color Beach towels) are supplied for your stay and there is a laundry room (coin-operated) should you need to refresh during your stay.

You will have full access to the hotel outdoor pool and the 10th floor communal sundeck - The sundeck is the perfect place to view Diamond Head crater, Kapiolani park and of course the Beach and ocean.

The building also houses Hula's bar and lei stand on the 2nd floor (front of the building) and Teddy's bigger burgers (lobby level)- Both great for an lunchtime snack or afternoon drinks.

The front desk is here to assist during your stay along with an independent concierge service in the lobby for tours & hiking suggestions.

The Waikiki Grand Hotel is located on Kapahulu Ave across from The Honolulu Zoo. The walking distance from Waikiki Beach is just under 2 minutes. Beautiful Queen Kapiolani park is across the street and stretches along the Oceanfront to the foot of The Diamond Head crater - The park offers Tennis courts, BBQ areas and outdoor family dining spots (Bench seats and tables). There is a fun & relaxed outdoor workout area close to the tennis courts. Every Saturday and Sunday year-round, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Art On The Zoo Fence artists present their artwork for viewing and sale in Waikiki along the Honolulu Zoo fence on Monsarrat Avenue, across from the bandstand at Kapiolani Park.

The Hotel is on a couple of the main bus routes, you may want to download 'TheBUS App' (Oahu) for times & routes - Our buses are clean & reliable - many using renewable energy. UBER & Lyft both operate on the island and are plentiful, along with the slightly more expensive Taxis. Lookout also for "Biki Bike" racks throughout Waikiki, a popular way to rent bikes for the hour, they may be picked up at one location and returned to another location anywhere in Waikiki - Again a simple App & credit card is all that is needed to enjoy this popular service. Bike lanes & bike paths are offered almost everywhere.

Overall a great bnb

Overall a great bnb. It was just my wife and I staying here so the space was good for 2 people. Great location, close to lots of restaurants and the beach. Would be happy to stay here again in the future!

We had a great stay at this place since it is a good location for cheap parking

We had a great stay at this place since it is a good location for cheap parking, very close to the beach and an affordable price by Hawaii standards. It is a small space, making it a cozy fit for 2 people, but if you think of it as just a place to stay while you do other things, it works great as it has all of what you need. Parking is expensive in Waikiki and this location is one of the few place you can find free to cheap parking, which on Kalakau Ave by the park for free or cheap (0.50 per hour), and also directly across the street at the Zoo (1.50 per hour). You do have to hunt for parking anyway, but if you want to save money, this works well. Location is near where locals go the beach to surf and bogey-board. Easy check-in and check-out, and communicative host. Garbage trucks outside early in the morning may bother you. Would stay again in the same place if coming back to Honolulu.

A great place to stay with places being walkable distance. Restaurants, shopping centers, the zoo, and the ocean are walking distances and great activities for everyone. Very great and helpful.

It was comfy, can use a deep clean. Positive: Awesome location, comfy bed, & provided beach supplies. Negative: We seen roaches crawling on the couch, & the jets in the jacuzzi tub (that I was very excited to use) was moldy and yes I checked to make sure it wasn’t just stains. Our last night there we woke up drenched in sweat bc the power went out which isn’t their fault bc a power line went down but it was still a bummer. I paid roughly $1500 for 5 nights, I upgraded to a king bed so honestly I expected the place to be in pristine condition or atleast clean.
