Description Description
With stunning Ocean, Beach & Diamond Head views at The Waikiki Grand Hotel™ , This 6th floor Queen bed studio offers free WiFi & it's own lanai

The super clean & well equipped kitchenette area ensures that a simple meal can be easily prepared at home. A Microwave, Coffee maker & toaster are in the kitchenette area and a portable modern single stovetop with pans is located in the cupboards along with ample plates, glasses, cutlery and utensils for your stay.

The bathroom vanity area is well lit & separated from the bathroom which has your shower/tub combo and W/C.

Fresh white cotton towels & linens (including multi-color Beach towels) are supplied for your stay and there is a laundry room (coin-operated) should you need to refresh during your stay.

You will have full access to the hotel outdoor pool and the 10th floor communal sundeck - The sundeck is the perfect place to view Diamond Head crater, Kapiolani park and of course the Beach and ocean.

The building also houses Hula's bar and lei stand on the 2nd floor (front of the building) and Teddy's bigger burgers (lobby level)- Both great for an lunchtime snack or afternoon drinks.

The front desk is here to assist during your stay along with an independent concierge service in the lobby for tours & hiking suggestions.

The Waikiki Grand Hotel is located on Kapahulu Ave across from The Honolulu Zoo. The walking distance from Waikiki Beach is just under 2 minutes. Beautiful Queen Kapiolani park is across the street and stretches along the Oceanfront to the foot of The Diamond Head crater - The park offers Tennis courts, BBQ areas and outdoor family dining spots (Bench seats and tables). There is a fun & relaxed outdoor workout area close to the tennis courts. Every Saturday and Sunday year-round, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Art On The Zoo Fence artists present their artwork for viewing and sale in Waikiki along the Honolulu Zoo fence on Monsarrat Avenue, across from the bandstand at Kapiolani Park.

The Hotel is on a couple of the main bus routes, you may want to download 'TheBUS App' (Oahu) for times & routes - Our buses are clean & reliable - many using renewable energy. UBER & Lyft both operate on the island and are plentiful, along with the slightly more expensive Taxis. Lookout also for "Biki Bike" racks throughout Waikiki, a popular way to rent bikes for the hour, they may be picked up at one location and returned to another location anywhere in Waikiki - Again a simple App & credit card is all that is needed to enjoy this popular service. Bike lanes & bike paths are offered almost everywhere.

* We never charge a resort fee or a reservation handling fee.

** We provide towel exchange by request on the 3rd day of a 5 day minimum stay. Message us for details.

Great View
We always stay at the Waikiki Grand. We like to cook breakfast. The view was lovely, sunrise over Diamond Head and sunset over the ocean. We had to buy a spatula and wine glasses. The sliding door in this unit 608 is in need of repair, very difficult to open and close. The view makes this a great value.

Mark’s place was amazing
Mark’s place was amazing. Exactly as described. Perfect for a few guest. Easy check in. Prime location. A block from the beach. Views were gorgeous. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Great amenities. Full refrigerator and coffee maker were used daily. Iron definitely came in handy. Had breakfast on balcony every morning. Comfy bed and cold AC. Highly recommend bar in hotel Hula’s. Fun vibe, cheap drinks, great people. A lot of reviews mention the noise. I’m a SoCal gal and noise was no bother at all. If you are a light sleeper or sensitive to traffic noise bring ear plugs. Can’t wait to ok our next trip. Thank you Mark for a great stay!

A great stay!
A great stay! If you’re looking for a budget friendly place to stay that is in the center of things to do, definitely stay here. I personally was not too fully focused on the stay since our itinerary was stacked and were barely home. So if you’re just on the go and you’re not heavily focused on the home experience go for this place. Walking distance from beach and stores. You can definitely walk around the area and come across great views, stores and things to do. My only concern was that It can get a little loud at night, so if you’re a light sleeper I’d definitely pack melatonin or ear plugs for a full night of sleep but this alone was not enough to rate it below 5 stars. It got the job done and would honestly recommend if you love walking around the city and don’t mind the noise at night when it’s time to sleep.

The view of the mountains and ocean was amazing!
The view of the mountains and ocean was amazing! Located in a very walkable area and very close to restaurants and shops. Our only complaint is how noisy it was at night, but we expected this given the location. Overall we had a great stay. The staff was very friendly and even held our bags after check out because our flight wasn't until way later on in the day.

This is a great find on the far end of Waikiki
This is a great find on the far end of Waikiki while still being walkable to everything you want. The free parking on Monsarrat is very close and safe for a rental car. We always found a place no matter the time of day or day of the week. The hosts are very responsive to any questions you have. I would definitely stay here again.

We had such an amazing stay at this Airbnb
We had such an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was beautiful, spotless, and had everything I needed for a comfortable trip. The location was perfect close to the beach, shops, and local spots, but still peaceful and relaxing. The host was incredibly welcoming, easy to communicate with. Waking up to the views each morning felt like paradise. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience highly recommend to anyone visiting Hawaii!

Great place but bring earplugs!
Unit 608 was perfect. Unobstructed views of lush surroundings with an ocean too! The studio was well appointed with everything I needed for the stay. The Waikiki Grand texted me regularly to see if I needed anything which was a very nice touch. I hope to book this same unit next Winter. Bring earplugs if you are a sensitive sleeper. The apartment is just 6 floors over a very busy street in Waikiki. Weekends are especially noisy. Closing the windows and blinds helps, somewhat. There are Jalousie windows in the apartment which do little to dampen the sounds.

What???? Why?????
This was the room I booked but upon arrival I was told “the room was not available”. I booked this unit several months in advance. Don’t understand how this could happen or why the information wasn’t provided before arrival. This caused a lot of anxiety for the family members who were traveling with me. Poor management and communication.

Check in was easy and I was able to get in an hour early. Got follow up messages after check-in and the next day to make sure everything was good. Everyone I communicated with was very friendly. Unit was clean and matched the description. Everything worked (AC, ceiling fan, appliances). Close to beach, easy to walk to restaurants, shopping, etc. Great view from the balcony.

When I first walked in, I was delighted! We were going to be here for work for several weeks, and the space was even better than the pictures. It was bright, impeccably clean, and inviting. The views are amazing. Sitting on the lanai, you get canopy-level views of Queen Kapiolani park trees with Leahi in the near background. Looking to the right, the ocean view is just beautiful. Wear your polarized sunglasses for an ever-changing kaleidoscope of blues and greens. Effective use of mirrors hung around the indoors and outdoors ensure that the space feels much larger than its square footage would suggest and really capitalizes on the views. Besides the view, here are some pluses: Comfy bed w/decent sheets Good AC and a ceiling fan Real refrigerator Nicely decorated Interesting books on local history Great window treatments Good coffee Friendly staff at the front desk Literally less than a block from the beach Convenient parking! (for an extra fee) Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
