Clearly, when not offered for vacation rental, this apartment was made for the ownerʻs use. The efficient use of space shows that the owner spent time living here. Located on the cool and quiet side of the hotel, You will find comfort in the large double bed, beautiful black sofa bed, the table and chairs and the desk with a power strip and router handy for your laptop. A full size refrigerator/freezer, large microwave, and cooktop completes the fully equipped kitchen. Should this room be available for your dates, you will be happy to have chosen it.

This comfortable Studio is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and also a family with a child. This is a studio apartment with a kitchen that can accommodate a couple adults and possibly a third person on the futon-like sofa

Had a great stay!

Had a great stay! Marks place was clean, spacious and in the most perfect part of Waikiki. Everything about this was great . Check in was easy, as well as parking and getting in touch with mark for any questions. Would stay here again

Great value for an excellent location

Great value for an excellent location just 100 yards from the beach. unit was comfortable and exactly what I needed. May need some TLC soon but had all that's needed. Suggest an upgrade to an office chair by the work station for those who chose this as a remote office location. Worth the investment. Otherwise 5 stars.

Room for Improvement

WGH 701 was a studio with a kitchen. The entire room was clean and comfortable, including the kitchen and bathroom. The room came with more than enough towels in a variety of sizes. The stovetop didn’t heat up, so I used the portable induction cooktop I found on top of the refrigerator. The laundry room in the basement parking lot was accessible, clean, and safe. The hotel is right across from Honolulu Zoo and within walking distance of an ABC store and Kuhio Beach. However, the area didn’t feel very safe. Sometimes, I felt unsafe and uncomfortable having to walk from Kalakaua Ave to the hotel because of the number of homeless people. Another downside to this place: the night I arrived, the front desk person was unprofessional and became apathetic and rude when I called the person out for their unprofessionalism. Most of the staff at the hotel were helpful and polite, but there’s room for improvement at the Waikiki Grand Hotel.

Limited parking is available on site for $35 / day (plus tax) - you may book directly online at https://www.wghparking.com/

If parking is full on the website please let us know and we may be able to accommodate you with one of our own stalls.

There is free street parking one block away on Monserrat, including three 'open' municipal parking lots (check signage for available times and restrictions)

Also $1.50 / hour parking in the 'Zoo' parking lot across the street from the Waikiki Grand; 4 hours max at a time.

I'm having work done to my house and would like to book your unit from 12/21-12/23. I was wondering if you would allow me to bring 1 small dog and 2 lovebirds with me during this stay?
