WGH 908 · 9th floor Studio Stunning Views

This condo is perfect for me for many reasons. Mainly, the amazing views of Diamond Head, Kapiolani Park, the Honolulu Zoo and the beach. This time of year, it is especially wonderful to be able to watch the sunrise as well as the sunset from the private lanai. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is especially well stocked with everything I could possibly need to make at least two meals a day. My only wish was for a full length mirror. Since this happens from time to time, I found a fold up one on Amazon that I travel with but it is not quite as good as having one on the wall. Plenty of sheets and towels were furnished as well as basic toiletries. Bus transportation is excellent from there and the location could not be any more perfect. As they say at the WGH, it’s only 134 steps from the beach in Waikiki. I hope to stay there again and again. Mahalo!

We "had to" stay in Waikiki due to some limitations. This apartment faces away from the concrete jungle and towards a big green space (zoo, park, etc.). It has glorious views of Diamondhead and the ocean! It's small, but well-equipped with a small "kitchen," has adorable furniture, and the balcony was perfect. We loved everything about it except the showerhead was a little lame and lackluster; it could probably due with some cleaning or replacement.

Enjoyed our stay! Great location, view was amazing! Great restaurants all within walking distance. Felt safe walking around Waikīkī am & pm. Used uber to get from cruise port here and to airport. Avis rental on Kalakaua, rented car for a day to get over to Pearl Harbor and around island for a day! Fabulous stay, aloha & mahalo! Cyndi

This is not my first stay at this location and because it suits my needs perfectly, I have returned once more! The space is small, maybe more ideal for one person than two depending on your expectations but it has all the essentials you need plus great views! I travel as a solo female and I have felt safe at all times in the building and in the neighborhood. The staff at the front desk have all been helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Being able to store luggage before check in time or after and having paid laundry facilities onsite are bonus benefits!

Really great deal, and my FAVORITE part was waking up to see the flamingos at the zoo next door every morning. The bed was amazing to the point where I need to find out where it’s from. Thanks Mark!

Loaded with all the amenities you would ever need, Extra towels, toiletries, even had beach towels. Kitchen has everything including a spice rack. Perfect location near the zoo and beach. Easy parking access, near many stores with spirits. The burgers on first floor and bar on 2nd floor are excellent.

Sadly, most issues lie with the building and not the unit itself. Hard to book parking ahead of time- little reaponse from front desk when sending a chat, 1 out of 2 elevators were down everyday. Including guests being stuck in elevator, leaving the other elevator for firefighters, so all other guest left using stairs. Building lost power for 12+ hours, no emergency power for 4+ hours, again leaving guests to only use stairs. When messaging the owner of the unit about no power, no response was received. Building manager was rude and condescending. Multiple times arriving back, other tenets were parked in our spot. As for the unit itself- great view of diamond head and partial ocean view. 3 beach towels, and lots of shower towels, shampoo and body wash only. No hand soap was provided for bathroom, so we provided our own and left it for others to use. One camping chair, which seamed to be taped together, we opted to not use this.

This is our second time staying at Waikīkī Grand. The view is amazing and has an amazing location. The beach in front of the hotel also has good snorkeling!
